Get ready to experience a one-of-a-kind event that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and balanced! “Asian Health and Wellness in Harmony Park” is coming on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 as the finale event of Asian Heritage Month.
Join us at Harmony Park (115 4 Ave SW) from 10 am to 2 pm for a day of discovery of pan-Asian wellness and relaxation. We invite you to experience our free tea tastings from around Asia and enjoy some pan-Asian snacks along the way. You’ll also have the chance to witness a traditional Chinese tea demonstration. Participate in wellness demonstrations such as yogic poses, breathing techniques, and meditation that you can take away to use both at home and in the office (free to join!).
We will also have a strong focus on mental wellness and will feature a mid-day talk on the importance of nutrition on mental health, as well as mental health-related activities and games. Our event is designed to be inclusive of seniors’ health so we’ll also be showcasing an Asian seniors’ fashion show that includes seniors’ advice on what keeps them healthy and vibrant.
The event is free to attend and open to the public. Learn, discover, and participate in how to achieve Asian-style health and wellness in your everyday!
