May is Asian Heritage Month
This workshop is inspired by the age-old question that we have been asked time and time again by others who saw us as the Other. In honor of AHM, “where are you from” turns the tables and instead, asks it in order to deepen how we see Each Other, to celebrate who we are in all our Asianness, parts known and unknown.
Participants will be led through a series of individual and group activities to create a collective piece that may offer answers, affirmations, or perhaps even more questions. All of which adds to the diverse complexity of who we are and where we come from.
