DESCRIPTION:Pt. Ronu Majumdar and son\, Hrishikesh Majumdar at River Park Church \nPt. Ronu Majumdar is a living legend who was recently awarded the Padma Shri\, as well as 2 Guinness World Records. This will be his finale tour and he’s also introducing his son who will now continue the legacy of music and flute that his father has built. \n\nRaga Mala Calgary was founded in 1975 and has helped establish other similar organizations in Edmonton\, Vancouver\, Saskatoon\, Winnipeg\, and Toronto. In 2025\, we’re celebrating 50 years of bringing Canada and Calgary the best of Indian classical music and dance. Our founder was awarded the Order of Canada for his contributions in 2013.
