  1. Who are the Asian Heritage Foundation (AHF) and why are they offering Cultural Bus Tours?

The Asian Heritage Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that promotes the appreciation of Asian-Canadian participation in and contribution to Canadian society. AHF is the largest Pan-Asian Organization in Alberta and includes active involvement from over 25 Asian-Canadian community groups and over 200 volunteers in the development and delivery of its programs.  AHF has an extensive network of Asian Canadian organizations, agencies, vendors, performers, many partners and volunteers who will actively participate in the planning and execution of events.

One of AHF’s signature events is Asian Heritage Month, a month-long event to celebrate Canada’s Pan-Asian heritage. The ExplorAsian Cultural Bus Tours is one of many events and activities featured during the Asian Heritage Month lineup. The purpose of the Bus Tours is to increase the cultural and historical awareness of the greater Calgary community, as well as highlight the significant presence and participation of Asian Canadians within and across our city. It is our intent to offer an engaging and interactive experience to enhance awareness and understanding of the presence of Asian Canadian communities in Calgary.
