Treasures of Asia and Canada

On April 25, 2026, many gathered for Treasures of Asia and Canada, an inspiring evening that celebrated the rich cultural heritage and artistic excellence of the Pan-Asian diaspora. Featuring award-winning performers including Eko Nurcahyo, Jihyun Back, Raghav Mathur, Yadong Guan, the GCB Band, and Kala Bhavan of Calgary, the event showcased a vibrant blend of music, dance, and cultural expression.

As a collaborative initiative among Calgary’s leading Asian Canadian community organizations, the program highlighted the contributions of artists from diverse Asian backgrounds while creating meaningful opportunities for cross-cultural dialogue and creative exchange. Through powerful performances and shared artistic experiences, Treasures of Asia and Canada amplified underrepresented voices, fostered community connections, and demonstrated the vital role of the arts in building a strong, inclusive, and vibrant Canada.
